The Institute of SeedTechnology at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University was established with acommitment to excellence in education, research, and innovation in the field ofseed science. Recognizing that quality seed is the backbone of sustainableagriculture, our institute strives to produce skilled professionals andgenerate scientific knowledge that supports the growth of the national seedsector.
The University Grants Commission(UGC) approved the Institute of Seed Technology to offer MS and PhD degreesfrom 2014, marking a significant milestone in our academic journey. Since then,we have continued to strengthen our postgraduate programs through advancedcoursework, modern laboratory facilities, and research opportunities alignedwith national agricultural needs.
Through dedicatedteaching, hands-on training, and strong partnerships with national andinternational organizations, we remain committed to contributing to agriculturaldevelopment and ensuring food security in Bangladesh.
