The physical infrastructure of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University is well-developed to support academic, research, and residential activities. The university is situated on approximately 86–87 acres of land in the heart of Dhaka, providing a শান্ত, সবুজ ও গবেষণামুখী পরিবেশ for students and faculty. The campus includes essential academic facilities such as administrative buildings, multiple faculty complexes, laboratories, and a central library housed in a multi-storied building with a rich collection of over 40,000 books and access to digital resources. In addition, there are research farms, including agronomy and horticulture fields, poultry and dairy farms, and modern agricultural machinery for practical training and experimentation.
The university also provides adequate residential facilities with several halls for male and female students, ensuring comfortable accommodation within the campus. Other infrastructural facilities include an auditorium, cafeteria, gymnasium, medical center, places of worship, and recreational spaces. Moreover, the ICT infrastructure is highly developed, featuring campus-wide internet connectivity through optical fiber networks, Wi-Fi services, and a dedicated data center supporting academic and administrative activities. Overall, the physical infrastructure of the university is comprehensive and well-equipped to facilitate higher education, research, and student life effectively.
